Why does everything have to be so hard?

All I want to do is get into the the communication age. I mean I just want to be able to post pictures from Flickr to here so that I can show some of my work on more than one site. It is like trying to read yiddish when you are reading instructions or non-instructions like on facebook. And this badges thing sounds really cool when you read it. But try and do it? Not so easy. I get so frustrated with all of this especially when I look on other folks' pages and see that they have mastered it. Why does this have to be so hard?
